Elon Musk Wants to Pay Dogcoin (DOGE) for Twitter Blue, Makes New Proposal
Elon Musk recently bought a 9.5 percent stake in Twitter and joined the board last week. The tech mogul is committed to enhancing Twitter and limiting the impact of fraudulent accounts and bots on the network.
To get rid of it, Elon Musk tweeted earlier today about a monthly subscription to Twitter Blue, which will provide individuals with an authentication check mark. But that's not the same as verifying a public or public number. On Twitter, Musk said.
"Everyone who signs up for Twitter Blue ($3 per month) should receive an authentication checkmark." But it should be different from a "public person" or "official account" checkmark."
Twitter Blue will also include a number of new features. These include an option to untweet, a bookmark folder and reader mode. Musk believes that the $3 per month subscription will "greatly expand the verification pool and make it prohibitively expensive to maintain an army of bots."
