Kilar was named CEO of WarnerMedia in May 2020. Entourage's Adrian Grenier is also a believer in cryptocurrencies.

Adrian Grenier is another (former) member of the Hollywood film industry who has taken a pro-crypto stance. According to the star of the TV show "The Following," digital assets could "solve a lot of processes that are now flawed and quite wasteful in all industries."

He also opposes critics of Bitcoin mining, claiming that "crypto is not just something that requires electricity." According to him, the asset class has the potential to make many industries more efficient. "If you look at the overall net return, I think it's positive," he asserted.

Grenier predicted last year that bitcoin would eventually replace fiat currencies such as the U.S. dollar.

"Over time, you'll see exponential growth in acceptance, but you'll also see bitcoin as a currency of the future."
