Oman to include real estate tokenization in its regulatory framework for virtual assets

Real estate tokenization will be introduced into the Oman Capital Market Authority's (OCMA) regulatory framework for virtual assets. According to a government advisor, real estate tokenization will increase investment options for domestic and foreign investors.

The Oman Capital Market Authority (OCMA) is planning to incorporate real estate tokenization into its virtual asset regulatory framework, according to a report citing an OCMA consultant. According to the study, Oman plans to complete the virtual asset regulatory framework by the third quarter of 2022.

Advisor Kemal Rizadi is said to have commented on real estate tokenization during a visit to a real estate exhibition and conference in Muscat, Oman.
