NFT sales are up this week, with Moonbirds and Mutant Apes leading the way

Sales of irreplaceable tokens (NFTs) increased last week, with $658.4 million in sales, an increase of 3.35% in 7 days. Among the 15 blockchains, Polygon based NFT sales increased the most this week with a 106.68% increase. In addition, the NFT collection called Moonbirds had the highest sales over the past 7 days, totaling $231.9 million.
Weekly NFT Sales Up Slightly
NFT sales increased slightly this week, topping last week's sales by 3.35%. Sales from 15 different blockchain networks were $658.4 million for the week. Seven days earlier, on April 10, sales plunged 13% from the previous week.
For the week, Ether sold $562.9 million, down 3.74% from the previous week. Polygon had the highest percentage increase in sales of any of the 15 blockchains compared to the previous week, up 106.68 percent to $7.3 million. For the week, BSC-based NFT sales increased 58.89%, while Arbitrum-based NFT sales increased 30.74%. Wax blockchain NFT sales declined 39.92% over the last 7 days to a total of $2.2 million.
