This is how 455 million WordPress sites can now accept dogcoins

Dogecoin has previously been used to acquire a controlling interest in the BIG3 league basketball team Aliens. Bill Lee, founder of Dogecoin wallet MyDoge, purchased irreplaceable tokens (NFTs) for aliens only in DOGE in exchange for providing a controlling interest in the BIG3 team. As part of the agreement, the MyDoge/Dogecoin brand will appear on Aliens squad jerseys as well as Big3 events and broadcasts.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said it would gain more utility if more companies accepted Dogecoin. The billionaire has also prayed for tipping as a use case, saying it would be "awesome" to tip authors with dogcoin. Despite the potential Web3 applications, Musk believes that a bridge between ethereum and bitcoin is unnecessary.

On the other hand, dogcoin developer Shibetoshi Nakamoto believes that the best use case for dogcoin in its simplest form is tipping.
