Following the launch of the THORChain Mainnet, the price of RUNE has increased by 55 percent in the last seven days

The project began in 2018, and a “multichain chaosnet” beta version of THORChain went live in April 2021. It has previously been the target of multimillion-dollar cyberattacks.

Other than fewer bugs and increased network stability/security, there will be no fundamental changes to the protocol with the introduction of the mainnet. Nonetheless, it will represent a big step forward in the project’s governance and adoption, as well as the evolution of Thorchain into a full-fledged network.
