Toys’R’Us and Macy’s will both carry the NFT Collection Veefriends physical collectibles

Attendees of the NBA Summer League Games last year received NBA Top Shot NFT packs. At the end of February 2021, Topps placed Garbage Pail Kids (GPK) NFTs within packs of actual trading cards sold at Walmart and Target. Luxury jewelry and specialty shop Tiffany & Co. introduced Cryptopunk pendants connected to NFTs. Additionally, current Veefriends NFT owners are qualified for a complimentary physical figure. Each physical counterpart will have a QR code that opens up character tunes and 3D animated films.

“Veefriends wants to bring value to our NFT community – not only will they get first access to claim the collection, they also get priority at the in-store events,” Andy Krainak, but the president of Veefriends also remarked during the announcement on Tuesday. “It’s just one more way we want to connect with our NFT holders and show them how we are developing the IP behind the characters,” Krainak concluded.

The CEO of Veefriends, Vaynerchuk, recently disclosed a collaboration with Mattel Creations to produce a redesigned UNO deck with Veefriends characters. The character “Gary Bee” will be the most uncommon foil card in the collection, and the new deck will feature a non-playable foil card portraying one of the 17 Veefriends.
