Google announced a new partnership with Coinbase that would allow a restricted group of users to pay for Google Cloud services using digital currencies like Bitcoin (BTC). This will be implemented early next year.
On October 11, the tech giant also intends to investigate the use of Coinbase Prime, a custodial service for holding and trading cryptocurrency.
In exchange, Coinbase said that it will migrate some of its programs, which were previously stored on Amazon Web Services, to Google’s cloud.
