Microsoft Cloud UAE is preparing to give tools for creating the Metaverse

Microsoft Cloud intends to help companies in the metaverse by providing public mixed reality technology integration services.

Ihsan Anabtawi, COO of Microsoft’s UAE branch, revealed that the software giant is working on a number of products to bring its vision of the metaverse to life.

Microsoft sees the metaverse as a presence and connection in any space, allowing people to connect in the hybrid world. The company’s goal is to immerse employees and customers in immersive worlds for new experiences, such as assuming the role of a creator and becoming a part of a community.

Anatabwi sees the metaverse as critical to accelerating the UAE’s digital and workplace transformation, as well as optimizing operations and business models.

Having said that, the corporation is betting on various products to materialize its metaverse services. The first is a product in the works: an Internet of Things (IoT) platform that uses mixed reality technology to generate a digital depiction of real-world objects, business processes, and people.

The Microsoft HoloLens2, which will be available in the United Arab Emirates on July 20, 2022, is a headset that connects directly to the Microsoft Cloud for data analysis, iterative testing, and artificial intelligence. Before investing, businesses can utilize the device’s holographic technology to produce a model of the physical product and evaluate relevant data.

The device also allows for remote medical assistance. It also enables developers to create any experience and users to gain access to teams, collaborative apps, and purpose-built applications. According to Anabtawi, the device helps reimagine the meeting experience by allowing users to customize their avatars for meetings using Mesh.

Another of Microsoft’s products in development, Digital 365 Connected Spaces, is intended to model how people move and interact within any space in order to increase metaverse adoption and experiences.
