This week, new digital collectible collections Art Gobblers and Keepers propel NFT sales 56% higher

Non-fungible token (NFT) sales increased significantly over the last seven days, with NFT sales increasing by 56.73% over the previous week. NFT sales volume reached $170.48 million this week, based on 889,499 NFT transactions over the last seven days.

Collections of Art Gobblers and Keepers Increase NFT Sales

NFT sales have increased by more than 56% in the last seven days, reaching $170.48 million this week. Sales were generated by 18 different blockchain projects, with Ethereum (ETH) accounting for $139.31 million of the total. Week over week, ETH-based NFT sales have increased by 95%.

While ETH-based NFT sales climbed by 95%, the second highest growth came from Panini-based NFT sales, which increased by 74.27%. In terms of week-over-week percentage increases, Ethereum and Panini were followed by Immutable X and Solana, respectively. However, polygon-based NFT sales fell by 80.66%, while Cardano-based NFT sales fell by 44.11%.

Art Gobblers was the #1 NFT collection this week in terms of seven-day sales, with $51.78 million in total sales. Art Gobblers was followed by the $9.45 million Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and the $8.57 million Keepers collection. While Art Gobblers was a standout collection in terms of sales this week, Art Blocks increased by more than 73%.

BAYC #5,979, the most expensive NFT, sold four days ago for $339.75K. BAYC #2,764 was second, selling for $297.75K six days ago. Cryptopunk #6,869 sold for $179K less than 22 hours ago, and BAYC #9,270 sold for $149.47K. Finally, according to cryptoslam.io statistics, the fifth most expensive NFT sold this week was BAYC #2,957, which sold for $145.74K five days ago.
