Can bitcoin continue to perform against the wind as the "death cross" approaches again?

By    11 Feb,2022

Although the "death cross" is a bearish indicator, Bitcoin's historical record around the indicator remains unclear. Bitcoin's performance was discouraging when the indicator appeared last June, but it was strong when the indicator appeared last March. And the emergence of the indicator in November 2019 led bitcoin lower again.

Mati Greenspan stated.

"Some people say this (death cross) is bearish, but for bitcoin, almost all previous 'death crosses' or 'golden crosses' have proven to be a good buying opportunity. For all those entering the Bitcoin market before 2021, any other indicator is a good buying opportunity."

Craig W. Johnson, Chief Market Technician at Piper Sandler, stated.

"Whenever there is a 'death cross' in a broad market index or stock, most (though not all) of the bad news has been absorbed. I think that at this point in time, time may be a bigger risk for bitcoin than the current price."
