According to media reports, Firecoin co-founder Du Jun predicts that Bitcoin is currently in the early stages of a bear market and won't see the next bull market until late 2024 to early 2025.
In a report released last week, Morgan Stanley's Denny Galindo said that ethereum could lose out to cheaper, faster competitors and could lose market share. He argued that Ether may have scalability issues due to on-chain congestion and high transaction fees, and that without upgrades, Ether's storage needs may eventually outstrip its own resources.
